FSB APPLICATION EQUIPMENT
The equipment used for the STATIC Stabilization for Stockpiles, Landfill, Buffer zone for airports, Helipads, Solar power Plants…, stabilization and dust control are the Hydro-Mulcher or Hydro-Seeder Bowie 600 and 3000 (USG) and one Pump Gear Pump Skid.
Bowie 600 Truck Mounted
The equipment below are used for the DYNAMIC Stabilization like for Roads Heavy & Medium Duty Traffic; light duty and very Light duty traffic; Passenger Cars , Golf Carts, Walkers…, stabilization and dust control. The choice(*) of equipment depends on the Soil density and the size of the project. The Mixing application is made by the Bowie 3000 (Hose or Ground Spraying Bar) or using a Mobile Mixing plant
SOIL STABIZATION METHOD
STABILIZATION & DUST CONTROL STATIC
- Area of Application : Stockpiles, Landfill, Buffer zone for airports, Helipads, Solar power plants…
- Application Frequency 1 to 2 times annually – to be confirmed by site visit
STATIC STABILIZATION APPLICATION PARAMETERS:
- Co-polymer FSB 1500 with a concentration between 200 to 250 USG/Acre according the topography and the characteristic of the material to be stabilized.
- Any kind of Water (Brackish, TSE, Sweet) can be used except sea Water with dilution rate 1(FSB)/8 to 11 (Water).
STATIC STABILIZATION APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- Area relief and Soil Check (Moisture, Granulometry, fine particle type) to fix Ration and Pre-Wet.
- Water Pre-Wet spraying 1L/Sqm if required which is the case in GCC most of the time except after rain.
- Mixing the water and the FSB1500 with the fixed ratio inside the Hydro-seeder Tank of the Bowie
600 or 3000 (accordingly the area size).
STATIC STABILIZATION APPLICATION PROCEDURE (FOLLOWING):
Spraying with the adequate Hydro-seeder, Bowie 600 or 3000 using the Tower Gun or the Hoses.
Drying Period 48 to 72 Hours according the Air Humidity and Temperature (might be 24h in certain hot conditions).

SOIL CHECK
DYNAMIC STABILIZATION & DUST CONTROL AREA OF APPLICATION: Roads with Heavy /Medium Duty Traffic; Roads
with Light and very Light duty traffic; Passenger Cars, Golf Carts, Pedestrians…
DYNAMIC STABILIZATION APPLICATION PARAMETERS:
- Co-polymer FSB 3000 with a concentration of 200 USG/Acre/Inch (x Number of inch: Road Thickness).
- Soil sampling and Testing (CBR, Plasticity, Granulometry…).
- The maximum weight used on the Road with High Frequency traffic, will determine the Thickness of the Road from 3 Inches to 13 Inches which correspond to a weight of 1 Ton to 60 Tons. The road can be used exceptionally by Very Heavy Vehicles of 100 Tons.
- Any kind of Water (Brackish, TSE, Sweet) can be used except sea water with dilution rate 1(FSB)/8 to 10 (Water).
DYNAMIC STABILIZATION APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- The Road Profiles (X,Y)
- Site Soil Sampling, Test and Result. It will determine the soil mix composition, if we need to add Fine-Subbase or not. We also can use Milling Asphalt if the Customer requires.
- Soil Land works cutting using Bulldozer or Grader Soil hardness and stones volume.
- Mixing the water and the FSB3000 with the fixed ratio inside the Hydro-seeder Tank of Bowie 3000 or directly in the Mixing Plant according the size of the project, then mixing with the soil.
DYNAMIC STABILIZATION APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- Layering the final mix on the road with the Grader followed by deep compaction (12 Tons) and Surface compacter (5 Tons double drum)
- Topcoat Sealing FSB 3000 Spraying after compaction (repeat this operation 2 times at 1 week intervals)
- Drying Period 48 to 72 Hours according to Air Humidity and Temperature
(a)Mixing FSB+Water, (b) Mixing (a) + Soil using Plant(1) or Excavator(2) according project size

SOIL & WATER TABLE UNDERGROUND INSULATION AND PROTECTION
AREA OF APPLICATION : Landfill; River Dams; Organic matter and compost; Pavements; Mining; Lagoons and Canals

- The combination of FSB1500 or 3000 with ActiMat will Provide a sustainable and perennial insulation which protects the earth.
- ActiMat is a high specification Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL), comprising of sodium bentonite encapsulated between two or more geotextiles (See the structure below). It adopts unique self-seaming overlaps technology which doesn’t require any additional treatment of its longitudinal edges.
SOIL INSULATION & INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
- Sealing Penetrations & Structures
- Subgrade preparation: The subgrade surface should be smooth and free of vegetation, sharpedged rocks, stones, sticks, construction debris, and other foreign matter that could damage material, when properly layered, we Spray the FSB1500 used to stabilize followed by smooth compaction
- Installation on the bottom: Layering the ActiMat by unrolling the ActiMAt Rolls on the Bottom surface to be isolated.
- Installation on the slopes: Layering the ActiMat by unrolling the ActiMat Rolls on the Slope surface to be isolated.
- Anchoring: to reinforce the immobility and sealing
- The cover soil acts as a protective layer, isolating the ActiMat from potential mechanical damage. Its weight provides the necessary pressure, which is a key factor in achieving effective sealing performance.
FOR SURFACE STABILIZATION:

FSB 1500 is sprayed for static stabilization when the cover soil is not subject to traffic.

FSB 3000 Mix is used for dynamic stabilization when the cover soil must support vehicle traffic, such as wheel loaders in composting facilities.

Dynamic stabilization ensures a durable final barrier capable of withstanding operational loads.
